one of the four splatmasters I'm working on.
Most of the upgrades are internal:
aluminium bolt, valve body, rail, manifold. modified phantom power tube/cup seal/ jam nuts (takes complete phantom valve assemblies, just not the bodies or springs) CCI 12gram changer in grip.
Replaced all screws with stainless.
will be having four .680" J&J barrels made to fit.
Toying with cutting the bodies down to attach a phantom stock feed instead of the traditional tube in tube design. (i've lost full tubes while running because of this)
Here's a shot of the insides.

That's really nice. If I may suggest a couple things, that would be:
- Try having a Phantom ball retainer inserted at the end of the top feed. This way you'd avoid the tube going out but would retain the original looks of it
- Maybe it would be cool to have an aluminum trigger done as well
Anyways, I love what you have done there!

I do have plans to make an aluminium trigger down the road.
As for the ball gates, I'm not a big fan of Rock back, since I've been pretty exclusively a nelson guy (phantom) for the better part of the last decade. Not to say I haven't owned sheridans and the like, but I've always preferred the rock-forward. hence the modified stock feed system.
Plus it's fun to be able to say that my splatmasters have just as many if not more phantom parts than my phantom does...

My bushmaster SC with a modified Lapco tight stick barrel and a custom made feed tube.
357 Phantom I made for a friend. Uses A5 barrels.
My Sheridan P86 with spring feed.
My Phantom double still not finished.
Old faithful. My Phantom I use most of the time.
My Buzzard with a Modified Lapco tight stick. Had to make a press fit delrin sleeve to cover those Thompson ridges so the pump would slide properly.
Yes I'm a gun whore. Soon I hope to own a DRV.

Dude the frame on that double phantom is SICK! Did you mill that yourself or contract it out to someone?
