A pistol instructor I once knew always said "A rifle held in two hands, with the butt against the shoulder is a tripod, a handgun held in two hands is a Bipod and a handgun held in one hand might as well be mounted on the end of a Mickey Mouse fishing pole".

Being able to keep two hands on it easily will help with steadying for long shots I suspect.

Weaver grip , weaver grip , weaver grip. The fore grip just stick out there I'm thinking I might use it for "run and gun". I don't do that much as it is not very effective but maybe.
