about to order a miltec G1, couple questions:

magazines are compatible with warsensor zeus g2 ones right? Whats the story behind all these companies?

and, the things such as pierce pin, cupseal, springs, are all as you mentioned, correct?

yes the magazines are compatible with warsensor, but I'm not sure about Ariakon.

As for the story, I can only give my opinion(and I say opinion, because other people have other versions and I don't care to argue about it ).
There was a factory overseas and the US distributor was Armotech US. In a dispute of some kind Armo quit importing the zeus and began making them in house as the warsensor Zeus G+s. Warsensor apparently didn't have rights to or didn't feel like producing the Armotech Long guns so they dropped them and went to work on the WG-47. Later a company formed to import the long guns that was named Miltec. After a while again the Miltec brand began importing the original pistol(without the Zeus name which Warsensor kept) as the G1 and G2. The threading on the Warsensor model is a monument to exclusivity.
The G1's threads and stats are the same as the G2, you just don't have the crazy little barrels and the barrel porting is slightly different, other than that they are identical.

Oh ok, cool. Exactly what I needed, the backstory, the fact that the G1 is just as spare parts easy, and the fact that the magazines are interchangeable.

Thanks!

Fan of EMR
Ariakon acp clips will not fit Zues/Warsensor/Miltec guns. The system is almost identical, but the specs are just different enough that they aren't compatible. Niether is the constant air kit. Also the grip frame from a zues will work on an ariakon, but not the other way 'round. The ariakon sear won't trip the Zues hammer for some reason.

Moral of the story is, Ariakon is the same but different, different but the same They made there stuff proprietary, probably to avoid legal issues when they split from warsensor/armotech.

Thanks Chappy,
That's why I mentioned Ariakon, I had heard they changed the mags just enough to not fit but I haven't verified it myself.
What a mess all that is. You know, I've been playing 99.9% pistol since I saw my first 3357(86-87??) and I wish just once in all those years even one gunmaker had someone with some pull that cared spit about playing pistol. The fact that this mess of companies and threads and grip frames are all able to stay in business should tell SOMEONE with a brain that it's time to make a good pistol in the oldschool modding tradition. At $20 a mag over 5 or 6 years a cheesy JABB will cost you as much as a squall(which uses 10rd tubes), unless like me you mod your way out of it. THAT's why they don't sell a million of them, because they designed them to sit in a holster and not be used. Come out with a worthy design that loads from 10rd tubes and you won't be able to keep them once word gets out.
If Armotech had just lasted(or had ANYTHING resembling good customer service), pistol play would have taken off then the way it has with the TAGs now.
Even the TAG, as much as I like mine, is designed to be impractical to use as a primary in anything other than small team situations(less than 20 a side). If the co2 change(say a lever) were in the taclight position like the AFT, then the mags would only have to hold paintballs. It would get an extra 4 or 5 shots per co2, the grip would be smaller and the magazines would cost $10!!! One simple thing would answer every single complaint I've heard about the gun and in the process turn it into the best pistol ever made. If Mr Tiberius(with all due respect) had been playing pistol primary like I have for 20 years he'd have known all that, but it's just my stinkin' luck that Tiberius would think of the pistol as a novelty item, Tom Kaye would think that the sydarm wasn't even worth selling much less upgrading into servicability, that the Palmer squall would be exactly what it is described as on the website, 'a spring-fed Typhoon', no less and not one DOT more. If the palmer squall changed over to RamboPreacher's front feed(an idea that's been around since the sydarm), then it wouldn't need the back plug. If it didn't need the back plug then the rock could be mounted in front of the trigger and the ram could be mounted behind the magazine ON TOP. Bingo, one little change and the gun suddenly feeds WAY faster, balances WAY better and is one tube wide, instead of having the same width as a 44 revolver!
But there is no signature squall available from Palmer because they don't like playing that way.

I guess the moral of the story is that it's tough to be a pistol player in a machine gun world. Pumpers had their turn, their time when they 'ruled the world', but pistols still never have caught a break.
Many people would say 'make your own pistol!' and I have a system that I like in this modded out G2, but the point is pistol play is fun, more people would know that if a company with great customer service made a pistol that either came correct out of the box or could be simply altered to functionality. Look at the popularity of pistol games and tourneys as time goes on and wonder whether tournament ball would look anything like it does if some company had brought out a decent mag fed semi pistol back in 86.

End of rant.

I saw that OD zeus, that mag'll look sweet on there AquaScummm.

Mags, Mags, Mags

Just want to double check for my newly purchased Miltec G2 (thanks to agent smith), what other mags are interchangeable? I read about the G1 being interchangeable with other guns, but not about the G2.
I really hope there are other mags out there that fit, because I can not find anywhere that sells miltec clips.
thanks

Yes, the Warsensor versions fit, with or without the quickchange on the back.
Interestingly, the PTXtreme mags will fit on these also. One of my projects, which I save up for the winter is a Warsensor WSP, I'm getting a Black Delta68 mag and faking it to look like a scope, the core ones are the same.
The Ariakon mags are different.

Hope that helps!

Problem

I just received my miltec g2 in the mail yesterday, and I have a problem. I insert a 12 gram co2, and it leaks alot. No matter how much I tighten it, it wont stop hissing. It seems to lose air right where I put the co2 in. It also aperas as if there is more room for the cartrage to be tightened. I get only 1 clip load off before the co2 runs out completely. After the co2 runs out, for some reason I am able to screw the co2 in farther.

U will probably want to convert to a Phantom pierce pin. You will have to ask Agentsmith for more info on this.
