| I own one. I like it Almost better than my TAG-8. Almost. The reloading trick is easy, just grab the pistol with your left hand around the barrel, and stick your thumb in the little gap between the body and magazine, As a kind of detent, so when it comes time to load the last ball in, You just pull it out of the way. Helps if you tilt the gun too. As for Co2, We need somebody out there to fabricate a lever changer. |

| I find the magnet to be a pain in the hind quarters, but otherwise surprising fun little gun (I just wish my buddy would get back from Detroit so I can get it back...) Oh, and I agree about the grips. Get something more comfortable, I made some wooden ones for mine. The may not look pretty (that's what happens when all you have for shaping is a Dremel), but fit my hand nicely ![]() |

| Not bad little shooters I have had a couple of them. However, I found paint reloads to be horrible and as such sold the things. I much prefer my tac8 I will not likley buy another pistol. Unlike the squalls and sydarms I have owned the tac is the first time I have felt I got my money's worth out of a pistol.

| I was looking at mine a few weeks back and I'm thinking of oval'ing the loading hole by quite a bit so the tube can feed the balls in a lot more smoothly with less angle. Once the little cover flips back over it'll hold it all in place just fine. The 12 gram loading sucks big time. The magnetic lever and the tip of the barrel is just stupidly in the way of each other. I see now why the screw cap on the old PGPs sticks out past the barrel so you can actually get a grip on the darn thing. I'm thinking of making up an extended screw in anvil that doesn't use that lever. Just a good grip or perhaps form it down to a flat that I can pinch.

| That was a nice "day in the life" sort of review. So Kampfer, what happened? It sounds like you don't have it anymore. I've had a couple of times now where bad barrel breaks or some other misadjustment has put me out. The idea of strapping the USP to my hip is sounding better all the time.

I didn't carry a pistol as sidearm, I used them as primary, so I was very very picky on them. Only the PGP and USP made me happy and fill my needs. I quit Paintball two years ago, sold off every gun I owned and moved to Airsoft, now I am into Airsoft reenacting. Last edited by Kampfer; 04-24-2007 at 03:55 PM. | |
