I complained so badly about crosmans that Hell Survivors now carries only Lelands.
It's a sin what crosman has done to paintball, their crappy, inconsistent, dud laden 12grams have singlehandedly torpedoed leverchangers in general, the quicksilver in particular and I blame them for Palmer's decision not to make 12gram guns as well. It's not the gun's fault the 12ies are junk.

The crosman 12grams being +/-5 or 6mms make them not worth bothering with for paintball, IMO. I had trouble even in my old Zeus with it's screw down plug. You'll be spending so much less on paint with a pistol rather than with a full marker kit, that there's no need to skimp on 12ies! They make or break your day.

Lelands are like night and day.

I haven't had any trouble with my mags dropping paint upside down like that. You could take your mags apart like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KCp4xpxTz_o and stretch the spring slightly. As long as you don't make it too long to reassemble, it will still work as the fin in the pistol hits strong.

How about we don't use an actual laser. Too many risks involved with that and I wouldn't want anyone I'm playing against to permanently damage my eyes. Maybe a less-than-real option?

let's be honest, a laser sucks

never use it, not even for the sole purpose of eye damage, but because they also suck and don't help with aiming and the laser is real dim.

haven't even used one or tried, but i know from use of lasers they would suck unless they're at least 5mW

Probably the Tippmann replacement, if I had to guess.

^this is right on. Buy the best if you want to win, I have ran through two bulk boxes of Lelands this year (between friends in need and my own use), and have zero regrets, over 900 12 grams and not one dud, or oily gunk filled powerlet yet!

Edit: and hello to dagger, one more for the Mass MCB crew! welcome.
