| The 'return' of the AFT! Well for those who loved the Feral Armed Forces Trainer pistol, a company that corralled up and has been using the original AFT's for force on force training since 2000 or so has finally had to admit that their beloved pistols are at the 'end of their life cycle'. So they contacted the folks who owned the rights to have some more made and guess who that was? ![]() This modified USP(due out in July) will have the AFT magazine system, LIGHTYEARS better than the bizarre method of the USP that makes them almost worthless and unholsterable in action, IMO. This company is selling them for a truly frightening $350(although the price point is literally never printed the same amount twice on the site), It's my hope that the folks at PMI will throw the USP in the trash where that loading system belongs and just sell these instead for a somewhat decent price. Three thoughts occurred to me right away: 1. I wish they had redone the co2 change on the USP, it works but it's not made to last, IMO. The USPs are not designed for anyone to actually USE them as paintball guns, like all modern PB pistols. 2. If these magazines are interchangeable with the original AFT, it would bring back alot of the old guns whose owners couldn't mod up new mags. 3. I've got to show this to my buddies on MCB! In any event, I'm sure I'll end up owning one of these, though maybe not on the Pre-Order: Strategos: Rob

| As to why so much, it's possible from the text on their site that this is going to be exclusive to them, but knowing PMI as I do, I seriously doubt it. Also remember they don't care if a paintballer ever gets one, the last thing an ex-SEAL would care for I imagine is hearing smack from some 12 year old because his gun hadn't arrived 1.1 days after he ordered it online. They don't seem to want to sell paintball guns, just serious training. If PMI has any sense they'd make a kit to convert USP's to this mag system, they'd probably sell one for every previously sold USP in the country and that's alot! Rob

| Nice. Now that would be a nice usable pistola. Quite a design step up from the standard Unusable Semi Pistol. I'd probabally even buy one though not at that price.

| I think that Conan of Damage Inc did a much better clip design, that allowed for the magazine to be inserted vertically, and kept the clip from breaking off if it was caught on something.
