I thought of it a few years ago when I made my first mag pouches for my TPX(canvas, no elastic, ugly as it could be)

Sewing it inside the pocket was a pain, turn the pocket inside out so I could get to the surface. The way it sat on my machine meant I really just stitched back in forth in a zigzag all the way across the velcro. The velcro I used was a double strip of ACU repair kit you can sometimes find at Wal Mart or Hobby Lobby.

Here's my molle belt that Kendakye modified. I asked him for a 8ci tank pouch and velcro belt straps. I really happy with Ken's work and I'll be looking to him for my future soft good projects.

The fazmags hold the zeta tightly and a great investment. I had Ken added the velcro straps because my belt came undone (cheap plastic buckle) from all the running I do. The mags have never shook loose. I do use the dust boots because sometimes I kick the zetamags with my heel when I'm kneeling. Otherwise, I don't loose mags or balls.

Suaze: very nice set up, if you need a good quality buckle, check out MEC, Ken Mills of Kendakye is pretty good with custom made set ups, really stand up guy.

Here's my current cheapo set up:

My new vest just arrived this morning ready for my first urban CQB game (I've been harbouring a chest injury, so I thought I'd pad up for once )!

This is basically a more minimalist version of the H-Harness I used with the Tib, more focused on keeping myself and my teammates stocked (I'm always the first guy in) and sacrificing a bit of mobility;

- TMC Personal Body Armour
- Miltec LC2 belt and harness
- TMC 5 mag pouch (great for my Eraser mags or 10-round tubes)
- Viper utility pouch w/ maxpedition shotgun loops (to supply the team)
- Tippmann holster (holds 5 12g's and two capless tubes)
- Sun in eyes

Wait just a minute. That appears to be a concealable type II ballistic vest. Please explain. I feel a story coming on.

I believe it's just airsoft gear meant to look like actual body armor/flak jacket. Correct me if I'm wrong, Wolfman...

Yeah, it's just an airsoft one with a bit of foam padding in it.
I've had a pretty bad chest strain since I took a nasty kick to the chest a few months back (I do the odd Sport Kickboxing tourny), and the last few times I've been balling I've ended up making it worse getting hit - so I thought I'd wuss out and wear some padding!

Not wussing out...being smart. At least you are still playing! No one said it had to hurt.
