If you could come up with a minimalist style holster for the Zeus-types, I'd be down for 2. Something similar to the CQB holster for the T8's, not a full-coverage type deal.

That could be done, I'm sure. I'm going to try a TPX Holster first (since that is what I have), but if someone was willing to loan me a stacked tube pistol I'd be game to try next.

I have an Idea for you snowzone!

Mag pouches like my leather ones:

Could be made out of kydex to look like this:

Much better yet, individual cups like that could be made with a simple belt loop on the back. A person could stack as many of these side by side on his belt as he was fat enough to handle(I carry 10 in my mag slide and it's 12" long exactly). A design with a top and bottom loop could be malice clipped onto molle, as with the belt ones, multiple cups could be added as desired to each molle panel.

I know some folks who would buy them off you!
Because the mags are so light, I've found no real stress is put on my gear and they stay very tight when I run. Stacking them side by side gives you the smallest footprint for a group of mags.

It's your idea if you like it!

AS, your rig is actually what has inspired me. I'm working on a modular system for either short side in or long side in. I need to figure out mounting options, considered either a leather backing/or kydex with loops.

Thanks for all the feedback so far!

As for the backing, I don't think I'd go leather as it tends to stretch and shrink with the weather, when the other side of the screw is in inflexible kydex, it wouldn't work as well as a whole leather or whole kydex piece, it seems to me.
Might be worth a try though as flexiblity across the slide is huge, I found. Can you think of a way to make 2 cups lockable to each other? Perhaps a flap out the side with a snap, that would snap to the cup next door? I think if I could vary the number that were connected I'd love it more.

What about the molle lock from knifekits? Ahhh that's it, the snap on one side of the flap, the molle lock on the other.

If you could make one like that, with a molle lock backed flap that snapped to the back of the one next to it, I'd start figuring out what I had to sell to get ten of them. One could have no flap, just a snap on back and one could have a mollelock behind the mag cup and one on the flap. Then you'd have to lock at least 2 together to leave no flap exposed. but you could add any number you liked to any size or shaped piece of gear from a vest to a belt.
The pivot of one side of the snap to the other should be enough to make it flexible along it's length too. Being held together by the molle web or the belt will keep too much stress from wrecking the snaps i suspect.

Let me know when they'll be ready!

Rob

Next time you're down this way and I'll loan you my PTX for sizing if you need something for a Stacked tube pistol.

Ok, here's what I'm working on (first):

TPX Speed holster, still have to integrate the option for barrel cover.
TPX Mag pouch (in the AS style as well as the IPSC style)
12g Quick sleeves (sourcing some material especially for these)

I am hoping to get some prototypes mocked up for fitment by the end next week. It's just a matter of getting the time in the shop. I'll probably start a new thread once I have some pictures.
