Thumbs up

I Loved the 'How-to'. Very well done.

My only problem is the idea behind a constant air pistol. I know good 12g are hard to find, but they are, to a degree, standard. That and it kinda ruins the form factor behind a pistol. If you add a larger tank, your just making it a Glorified Hopperball-style marker. Limited ammo, and almost endless air.

Good tutorial, controversial subject.

I use a 10-shot Classic Automag with a vertical 13ci tank and 8" barrel. It balances at the trigger finger thanks to the stainless body and valve, and I shoot it using your standard two handgun technique. I don't see what makes it any less of a pistol than anything else. A tek-9 may have a big forward magazine, but it's still a pistol. If it were a bottomline tank setup, I think you'd have a point, but in my opinion vertical air setups don't really kill the form factor of a pistol.

It would be hard to holster without a custom rig, that's for sure, so I could see a distinction being made between "sidearm" pistols and "primary" pistols.

yeah, definitely not a side-arm with the vertical tank, but still very much a pistol.
