Really. Wow. didn't realize it was that easy. You could leave it mag fed and do that too right.

What i do wonder though, is whether there is a need to lock the cocking arm to the bolt, and make it into a closed bolt pump... Could be quite beneficial...

Perhaps a blackbox mod would do it...

Edit- I bet you could figure out a way to mount and plumb a phantom-style CO2 changer in the grip too if you wanted with this configuration...
Jay ill send you my tpx for you to do a springfeed and in grip 12 gram mod.

Oh, this is what the fb message was about lol... I was only theorizing man, I have zero clue if I could actually pull it off or what it would take to do it until I actually try...

with having the 12 in the front, and the mag open, could you potentially put another 12 gram in the grip. allowing for a spring feed and 2 12 grams?
possible?

Definitely possible but getting the plumbing up near the reg to fit AND have some sort of checkball to keep from gassing out both 12g's when trying to change one would be pretty tricky. Not impossible, but it would take some creativity and there'd certainly be a weight penalty. Of course, they'd both probably empty at the same time anyway so you'd have to change two at a time instead of just one. At that point I think I'd rather just change the plumbing so that you have a tube coming out the bottom of the magwell with a remote nipple on it and just run a remote line with a small tank.

And redthirst, yes, I'm serious. The only problems I've ever had with any in-grip magfed pistol is chops resulting from the mag either getting dirt in them or humidity causing the stack to gel together and jam up. And it's a pretty common occurrence here in Jersey. It's why the Zeus has been my pistol of choice for the past year and a half or so now, because I've NEVER once had a feed issue with it. Now I love the TPX's bolt engine, and the fact it has a removable barrel and a regulator. But I'd much rather have a top-loaded spring feed and 10-round tubes then in-grip mags ANY day. I just don't trust them, mainly because every time I've ever gotten an awesome flanking position on the opposite team, I've been totally screwed by a mag jam or failure.

Pretty cool mod. Seems counter-intuitive to me, but if it makes him happy...
