Have a couple of local sellers and was thinking of picking up the Combat Pistol this weekend and the Walther later... Has anyone used these either in target practice or in actual games? Curious how they perform...accuracy wise, etc. I've seen some reviews that say they are pretty accurate 20-30 feet which is probably about as far as I'd use them, since this will be a side arm, primary is a tiberius t9 or tippmann a5 sniper... .43 cal paint shouldn't be a problem for me, local fields are usually FPO, but they have mentioned that .43 cal is barely a worry for them if it's checked out before i play with it A couple of reviews said the accuracy was poor since the barrels are poorly made...is this the case? Thanks in advance for any replies! -STZ |

It's not so much the accuracy of the gun that is the issue, it's that the paint rarely if ever breaks on target. The Kingman rounds are the only ones brittle enough to break on target, but the RAM guns are so hard on paint that they'll blow up the Kingman rounds inside the gun. I have one of the RAM Desert Eagles and I really like it, but I had to sand the crap out of the underside of the slide to get it to work reliably |

I might contact you later about the details of how you polished out the slide...sounds like a easy mod.

I have no experience with the Rap4 paint, but,I do have the Nelson version, which works pretty well and I have some of the Rap4 powder rounds, both require a direct hit on a harder surface to get them to break....more often than not they just bounce off. I have more than I'll ever need of the Nelson paint if you'd like to snag a supply for cheap money, just pm me if you do....and yeah you can PM me about the slide polishing if you like,it's pretty easy but time consuming.

Don't know about RAP4 products, but I experienced .43 (with a Kingman Chaser) and all I can tell you is that it's good for CQB only! Unless you play indoor... If there is more than 0 Beaufort, balls will seriously deviate after 3-4 m (or yards) |

The Kingman guns are actually not made the same as the RAM versions...The RAM/Rap4 guns have Brass barrels that are fairly tight bore as well as the breech area has a rubber detent that complete surrounds the ball so the accuracy is alot better with them
