has anyone ever ...

... sown elastic tube holders or a molle tube holder onto pants to carry 10 round tubes?

I like the idea of having extra rounds right on my pants vs a pack.
I kinda stole the idea from the smokin joe pants.
I've just never seen them in use anywhere else.
My small frame this would make for a very nice feature and still be able to use my team pants.

Yes

I did, I had an extra WTF 6 x 12g shingle that I had sewn onto the left leg of my pants. I am sure a ronin wrist band or a simple shot gun belt would do just as well.

Works great for 12gs or tubes.

I will try and snap a pic tonight for you.

Yep, seen that before. Good idea. Just maybe put them slightly behind the leg so they dont get crushed if your a slider. Or on the upper foreleg. Really think the location of them out.

Thank You. I'm still looking for those pictures.
I was thinking about just picking up a 5 loop patch.
I found one online for $5 from some random company.

I might go with the shotgun belt if my MCR3 from Condor works well for me,
but right now I use an NXE Extraktion Pack around my waist.

I have definitely been thinking about a good location.
That's a tough decision for sure.

The positioning on the Smokin Stockclass pants is perfection, IMO. never had any problem whatsoever with them:

The rear ones were high, in the middle of the back pocket, NO SITTING. I used the rear ones as dump for the front ones.

Personally I liked them all for dump, though I did carry loaded tubes in them fairly often,

they worked great for mags too, 2 loops equals 1 mag:

The perfect position for the rear ones would be right behind and same height as the front ones, IMO.

What are those? link?
That's exactly what I want to do should the MCR3 not work out for me.
If it does then I'm just going to purchase a shotgun belt.

Thank you for the pictures.
