If you want to go with a phantom feedgate for stock class feed or cram and jam on an Automag, it fits nicely as well. Probably less expensive than Brew's option, but of course not as nice.

Change out the 13CI for a 12 gram bucket on the vert ASA, and it's pretty compact.

In my mind, a Zeus with a top-loading mod and one of Smiley's captured feed plugs owns this category. for 12g OR remote use. The SA17 is good, but the Zeus is a tighter, lighter package. SA17 may also be more efficient on 12g's but the changer system is so brutally nerfed that it completely undoes any efficiency advantage by making them so slow to change.

For me, it's a Zeus with the above mods plus a remote line and small CO2/HPA tank.

What do you guys think of Sydarms? Aren't those just a more expensive converted automag to pistol? Mechanically they're the same right?

They have some troubles, the pierce pin is in the plug and it feeds down into the valve. If you don't shoot fast or often they're not a bad choice and they have a Harley-Davidson coolness that is undeniable.
I found an ASA that Tunaman made, here's the same thing from Lukescustoms:

and used a C/A adapter to pipe a lever changer into the Sydarm I used long ago, it helped alot. Added even more weight though....

I must agree with PistolRogue for non-mag fed, though I preferred to use 12grams with a side dropout. If I were going to use C/a with a zeus I would replace the 12gram with a direct stabilizer from Palmers.
