Calamity for the T9

Hello all!

Had an idea last night inspired by Pistolrogue's Calamity TPX. The idea was to dput a springfeed on my T9's side feed port and run it off a remote with HPA. But I'm a bit stuck on what sort of springfeed would be suitable.

Does anyone on here have a T68 springfeed to hand or similar?

I'm need to know the distance between the two small tubes that hold the attachment mechanism springs.

I did think about getting a longbow mag but they are impossible to find in the UK.

Thanks!

Yes they did, although I'd imagine they're not that easy to find anymore. The only problem with a side mounted mag is that if you want to do the loading port mod (and you should), it makes it harder to access the spring follower knob and the port as you have to add a twist and reach over to reload. Probably still faster than taking the feed plug out and reloading that way, but not as convenient as a top mounted feed either.

I'm sure it could be done somehow... But it won't be anything near a straight bolt-up.

Been thinking about this a lot now and I really can't see any springfeed fitting properly. I researched the longbow mag and found that they sometimes have feed problems.

So I'm going to have a go at building it from scratch from wood. it will probably fail but I can only try. Don't expect regular updates on this though, it will be a while before I can borrow the tool time! Add to that i don't have much experience with woodwork but I know somebody who has!
