have you actually used the FazMags with the Tiberius upside down? I heard that they fall out occasionally if they are upside down with the heavy Tiberius mags

I use the extendo's so I keep them upright, the naked 8.1's are upside down though

Have you tried them with a stock T8 mag? The old style one?

If they fall out and hit your bare foot its a world of pain! Twice in a row on same foot, I almost shed a tear..

I would guess they are too heavy. Especially if you say jump down from height.

In my experience, the T8,1 mags upside down will work themselves out of a Fazmag after running and jumping around for awhile, so I run them right-side up.

Also just to note, if you decide to place an empty mag into the Fazmag, you CANNOT simply pull straight up to remove them. The ear of the ball pusher, being at the top of the mag, gets caught on the inside of the Fazmag. You have to give the mag a small twist with your wrist - the same technique used in the real steel variant, the ITW FastMag: http://www.itwmilitaryproducts.com/s...0-%20Large.pdf

Twisting the mag re-orients the ball pusher ear to the corner of the Fazmag so the ear doesn't get caught.

This is not a problem with a full mag (i.e., you can remove them by pulling straight up as the ball pusher is in the part of the mag that's exposed outside the Fazmag) but I would suggest using the twist technique when removing either a full or empty mag.

Good luck for 2013 Midnight Angel!
