Filling mags without tubes

So besides using 10rds tubes or pursuit pods, what other ways do you reload mags in the field? I'm just getting used to my Tib 8.1 and im already tired of tubes. While testing in the garage I noticed that I can fit 3 small hoppers (WGP ammo boxes) in my usual pouch and they do a good job of refilling mags (i would like to carry 3 max). Has anyone use this method before? Couldn't find any reference here.

I always used cut down tubes when I had my 8.1, but when I switched to the tpx, I would just carry a 50 rd pod with me for reloading, since the tpx mags are a pain to try and fill with a 10 rounder. The release of the zeta mags, however, has me back to using tubes again.

I drilled a 1" hole in the bottom of a dye pod, ran a flexible 1" electrical conduit with a .75" ID fed it threw the hole on the dye pod with a few washers around it to hold it in place. I had someone with some sewing skills make a sheath that went around everything with a few MOLLE straps on the dye pod end so I can mount it on the back of my vest with the 1" conduit haning and wrapping around my side. I made the end of the sheath at the end of the conduit like a coin purse where it's normally closed but when pinched it opens up and pours out balls single file into my waiting mag. As you run/move balls shake and fall into the conduit and altogether the conduit and pod holds 160-200 rounds depending on the length of the conduit. Also lining the pod with bubble wrap or something to minimize rattle as your running around takes away from your max capacity. I like the setup because I can load it at the beginning of the day and have enough ammo to reload all day long and you don't need to carry 20 tubes. Only downside is if there are no balls in the conduit as they sometimes get caught up in the pod you may find yourself wiggling and shaking around while crouched behind cover trying to get more balls to roll down the line but as long as you keep moving between reloads it should not be a problem.
I got the idea from medusa paintball but made my own version to feed single file for my tib mags.

I just carry extra mags... I carry 6 regular mags (9 if I want to throw another pouch on) PLUS 2 zeta mags.

throwing a ready to use mag in the gun is a lot quicker than reloading mags on-field.

When I did have to do that, I just hand loaded them out of the hopper of my rifle.

Other than that, you could cut the 10 rnd tubes down to 8 rounds (your size) to make it easier to load the mags.

the Dye pod connected to the electrical conduit

The first Image below is the above parts with a custom made sleeve. The end with the pod has MOLLE and the other end has some plastic from the packaging off something I bought. It holds itself shut regularly and opens like a coin purse of unlimited ammo when you squeeze it as seen in the last photo.
