PT xtreme Junior

Anyone tried using the rap4T68 co2 face seals on these pistols?

I did last night on two. Problem is the cupseal on one of them is not working properly so the marker leaks after 2-5 shots on a fresh 12 gram. The issue i'm having is removing the face seal unit to get at the cupseal/valve. The face seal unit will unscrew so far then it jams. I managed to leaver one out using the constant air hole in the bottom of the marker, but the screw in the hole in the second marker will not come out due to Red Loctite!

So is it possible on these markers to remove everything from the back of the marker rather than the front? In lieuw of getting a blow torch to the locktite.

CHeers.

I'm pretty sure there's a crossing pin that has to be driven out to get the front bits out the back. It's not something you'd want to do often I think...

Yep crossing pin is a no go for me, I'd end up breaking it.

Its pen sized lead blow torch to the nut to heat up the locktite for them. I think its going to be a while before I play again....

If it's any cosolation, you could always borrow one of mine for the day if you're at a game with me. Although the choices would be out of a 3357, Splatmaster or Eraser - but it'd give you chance to play!

Cheers Wolfman!

Update - the offending nut has been removed via the use of brute force/mole grips (CHeers DAD!). There isn't much left of the nut now, hopefully I can check the cupseal now and have two fully working pistols. They are Blue and Silver PTX JR's, only problem I can see now is getting the chamber on them to seal for HPA (Sorry 12gram lovers) The silver one sealed on co2 before I messed about with it and despite the face seal o-ring being non existant so that one might be my HPA marker, the over will have to live off 12vies for now.

I've now encountered another problem. When I bought the pistols they came with matching coloured magazines and two spare, a green mag, and a black one. The problem is that's an incomplete collection... and I like collecting!

Did an overnight test, to check the silver one now holds air. I loaded it with a 12 gram yesterday night, about 11pm, at 2:00pm today (15 hours later?) I got 30 shots from the 12 gram. That was indoors though with 2-4 seconds between shots. Not bad considering there were slivers of metal stuck in the cupseal yesterday, took a bit of cleaning/lubing etc (but so much quicker to do that my old tibbies). Next jobs for these two are flex-hone barrels, front feed ports, but they do look so pretty without a great big holes in the magazines...

Any one ever painted these though or have any advice on making the slightly less noticable, they are a bit blinging!
