No, I'm thinking of how well a single mag would fit in a double M4 mag pouch.

I just measured both the Tac-8 mag and the M4 mag. M4 is .875(7/8), T-8 is 1.125(1-1/8). So 1 T-8 mag would be very loose in a 2 M4 mag pouch, but 2 T-8 mags would fit in a 3 M4 pouch with 1/8" for a divider.

A shingle pouch might work if I can find one that'll fit T-8 mags. I'm going to try the AITES shingle and see how it works. Crazyboy78, how tight/loose do they fit in that G36 pouch from Blackhawk?

Pretty well, actually. Nice thing about those pouches is that the divider can be turned so that the mags stack flat or on edge. Either way, they're snug enough that they don't flop around but not so tight that it's really hard to get them out quickly.

Plastic dividers for both and the mags come out quick and easy. Found this pouch at the army/navy store and not entirly sure what it was originally intended for. It is MOLLE so it will work on a vest or whatever. $19.95 I screwed the plastic inserts in from the bottom. Works for me, but is kinda heavy with 4 mags in it.

3 Mags fit perfectly in a triple mag M16 pouch. If you can get one that the dividers haven't been ripped out on yet it is even better.
