TIPX spring issues
So I've had my tpx for almost a year now and have run across a spring issue that I don't understand. the part in question is the spring on the bolt that goes into the block well, this:
The spring is not seating properly in the block. when I put the spring in the block I have to force it on. It sticks to the side of the block. I don't know much about springs and do not know what the problem is.
when the pistol shoots I can hear and feel a springy twang sound, if that makes sense. I haven't been playing for 3 or 4 months over the winter so could this just be from Not being used for too long?
Also the pistol has been chopping a lot, not sure if that is because of terrible paint or this issue.
I am using stock everything with a remote line connected to a 20oz co2 tank, if that helps

The spring sounds like it is out of round. I replace that spring and the bumper underneath the bolt every season, I recommend that to everyone, it keeps them purring like kittens. Those parts just wear out exactly like orings and should be replaced.
If you roll the spring across a table it will roll and stop smoothly if it's still round.
We play Pistol and we encourage the Few despite the discouragement of the Many.
