Gotcha,

Smith, you might wanna look at a Phantom threaded microshot. Its going to probably have a smaller OD than other barrels due to the over barrel pump.

Is the twist lock barrel system of the Tac 8's similar to the automag style? Just wondering if that's the type most able to be used.

No, it's not even close. The Automag twistlock portion is only about 2 inches long, and the grooves are much thinner and deeper than the Tiberius grooves. There's also only 1 locking nub in a Mag, instead of 2 on the Tib.

If anything, I would think you'd want to use a barrel with the largest OD possible to give you the most meat to work with. You'll be turning it down to the proper size to get it to work with the Tiberius.

I have an old stock procarb barrel that is a mm too large, so any barrel 7/8ths or bigger od should work, I'll have to avoid changing the wall thickness away from the standard barrel so that the bolt lines up perfect, but it seems doable.

I remember something about white wolf saying that it would be milled from the front and threaded for a mock suppressor, personallyh i think mock suppressors look awesome on the tib. If thats what he was doing shouldnt it not be too hard to mill the new barrels from tiberius for freaks? (the extended threaded ones?)

Tiberius Arms

bottom of the page has pics, after seeing that I dont see why the stock barrels couldnt be milled, or at least the newer threaded tip ones.

That looks like they're using the CCI muzzle breaks that Mike makes for his 18" Phantom barrels.
