Delta 68 issues

So i was at a local game a few weeks ago and got a Delta 68 for basicly nothing because the previous owner was frustrated trying to repair it...i thought "no problem, just the o-ring"...well i got the oring, put it in the valve, and it still blows CO2 everywhere... i did the usual, tighten the adjustable screw on the quick release lever, replaced the o-ring 3 times, and even the cupseal...so i'm all out of ideas, anyone else have any ideas?..its a great looking marker and i'd like to use it as my backup, but if its going to be this unreliable i'm just sticking with my faithful splatmaster

Thanks,
Reconshooter

Barrel or piercepin leak?

If its leaking for the 12gram then i would suggest buying a new pierce pin block from RAP4 for about $5. Its alot better design and the 12gs wont get stuck.

If its leaking from the barrel the cup seal might be offcenter or the o-ring around the CUPSEAL block might be bad. To fix this you will have to remove the grip, remove the threaded insert that holds the front grip screw in and than slide the cup seal block out. The o-ring sould be the same as one on a co2 tank.

Goodluck.

i think i'll go with the RAP4 idea, thanks, Its a piercepin leak for sure, whenever i pierce the 12 gram it all leaks straight out the front of the valve, but the 12 gram is defintely tight enough into the valve face, today after i tried to pressurize it and failed, the 12 gram was stuck in and it took a few minutes to slide it out, so i'm assuming its still the o-ring, i just can't figure out why none of the o-rings will work...couldn't be that all 25 i have are from a "bad batch" so to speak

The piercepin that cam with my pistol hardly ever worked, it would leak if the 12g was a litlle too loose or tight and would always get stuck. With the rap4 pin i just flick the gun and the 12g will fall out itself. If the "washer" on the rap4 pin ever needs to be repalced, it the same part as the one on the CCI Phantom 12g pierce pins and cost about 30cents.

On the RAP4 website its the #18 puncture valve from the T68 pistol.

I second XJ on that.

After he told me about them, I ordered a few for friend's Deltas and they are a nice way to go. They're just fine for any brand of co2.
I wrote in the comments when I ordered them that they were for the latest gen of T68 pistol.

Thanks, i'll put in an order for 3, i have a few friends with Deltas and i might as well help them avoid the same problems, and its a good price. Great thing is after that part i still only spent about 25$ on the gun, total
