Well, the place where I work decided that everyone must take their vacation or they would lose it. Since this was early may and my vacation year ends June 1, this made for a big huge vacation with many caught fish! I see the TPX came out the minute I took my eyes off it! ![]() Well, I can repost these now at least: Agentsmith's TPX gallery These and others along with a few videos are going into a big thread I'm going to post about maintenance and modifications. The first mod(neatening it up in a few) is a divot out of each side of the co2 plug: This allows me to tell by touch whether I have the plug aligned right to put in the gun. I'm going to make this a good channel, now that I know from play it helps alot not having to look. Off to the garage! Rob

Judging by the pictures it looks like a blow forward a la automag?

Mostly Morfesto, but a spool hides in there too! All I can say is wow. After flexhoning the Breech block and barrel as one unit with the polishing hone, this thing is a dream! I'm going to man a new breech block for the inside with a cocker detent in it maybe, at least try it and see if there's any change... Rob

How have you found changing a CO2 that isn't spent, others have said the plug is too stiff tot urn under pressure? How about adding a nubbin tot he CO2 plug, instead of a cut out, this would also give a little more grip, hmm, could interfere with holstering I suppose?

The hole at the end of the co2 plug is a 3/16" allen, so with a wrench it is possible to gas out even a fresh co2, while you wouldn't want to take an allen out on the field in play it works good after games. This also leads me to think that a plug that will allow more torque would be sweet. I understand Tippmann has something in the works for this, I've been at a robot school this week, so I haven't got to whip up the design I have in mind... I'll be back in the plant next monday, one lunch in the tool bay should have me going. Rob

how many shots do you get on average with one 12gram?

| All in | This is a thread for the mods AgentSmith's is gonna make for this gun, not to review the gun there's plenty of threads where you could find all the answers you need about it. By the way you have a beautiful armory, we almost got the same.AgentSmith, I'd be very interested in a mod to purge the Co2 out of a not-so-empty 12ie, for an easy removal of the plug (and to save the seal)... I know you were gonna make this, so i'm patiently waiting. And most of all, thank you very much for sharing that work and knowledge with everyone.

Thanks! I'm having a blast finding out all the ins and outs of this thing, this whole experience has me more torqued for paintball than ever before. Even though I've used a tag off and on since they came out, i've still ejected a mag with balls in it and forgotten to get the 2 up in the gun out before I load a fresh mag, a shake's all it takes but what a mess if you forget. The plug I have in mind is pretty simple. it will be shaped like a J with the long part hanging under the rail. This will allow me to catch it with my fingertips as I put the heel of my hand against the barrel. Then I simply twist the whole gun with the grip hand, torque galore. RaSs_FR, there is one possibility and I'm going to check with Flatline's Up of the underground Mod shop to see if he can whip it up. Stay tuned! Rob
