Soldering iron, I'd wager. I'd sand it down a lot, looks a bit, er, extreme...

Soldering iron indeed. Simply dress it to a nice round tip in whatever size you prefer and !gently! lay it on the grip until it starts to sizzle. Makes a great positive grip which helps improve instinctive shooting. Once I see spare clamshells showing up on TippmannParts, I'll probably be buying a couple of sets to try some new things with it, like different patterns/designs/size of tip/etc. Probably wind up selling some sets as well for those that are too chicken to do it themselves.

I also want to have another set of clamshells that I can remove the finger grooves from ala AgentSmith since I'm finding the lowest groove spreads my pinky out too far from the rest of my fingers and seems to drag my aim a bit low. Normally I'm fine with finger grooves because I have big hands and they've never been an issue for me, but these grooves are REALLY spread wide.
