Sp1 all kinds of messed up.

Recently got a used SP1 from a friend because it apparently had "some issues".
Aired it up and it's leaking from down the barrel, somewhere around the 'noid and around the banjo assembly. Before I go splurging on the O-ring kit,(the likely culprits) I just wanted too get some opinions on what I should do first. I can't do a full break down at the moment as I don't have a large enough hex too pull the bolt assembly out the the back of the body.

The Sp1 has the FireBolt, and the flat ASA so I assume it was set up for HPA if that will help with diagnosis I don't run HPA so I also assume I'll have to set the dwell for co2.
I'd greatly appreciate any tips as I recently got back into the game and need a backup for my Spyder.

This link should help:

Also your oring in the noid sounds like it is gone or the cover was over tightened and is cracked. Sounds like the orings in your Banjo is bad. Take off the noid and inspect the cover with a flash light. They cost like $25 to replace.

You have to adjust the board for CO2 or HPA. Go on youtube and type in SP1 board adjustments.

VIBE/ENVY SP1/G1 hose and banjo repair

This is a down and dirty hose and banjo repair. I have confidence that I can do this repair without issues, however others may have difficulties. Seek help from the marker factory for all factory repairs. Any damages you cause to yourself or gun parts and anything else in between is your sole responsibility.

So I recently picked up a cheap VIBE on line:

Read Here:

Gun Projects

It came with a few items. One thing I have learned as a mechanic and thru gun repairs is:

"Don't throw away good stuff,it can always be used later"

Well I did just that, had a few bad boards,so I removed the banjos and anything else salvagable I could and thru them in the bottom of my Vibe case.

As I was getting may latest project ready for the dish washer<I had to remove the board from the breech, and this is what I found,a flared banjo seal:

Well that just won't due,no way am I paying $25+ dollars for a new solenoid top, hose and banjo. This is a simple repair. Might as well put all that payed education to work.

So a few months back,I ordered some repair hose from GoG, for that "Just incase repair"
So off to the repair box I go to gather a few Items that I will need for this task:

Now this is easy to do,just take your time and be patience. Just lightly score the tube long ways till you can remove the old hose. Don't go in to deep and cut or score the barb.

Next cut the hose to leangth. Now you can do it two ways. Cut the hose before you put it on the barb or cut after it's on the barb. I just used a little spit on the barb and on the hose end. I'm sure there is a lube that can be used.

CAUTION:

APPLY EVEN PRESSURE WHEN PUSHING ON THE HOSE. IF YOU MOVE IT AROUND OR USE TO HEAVY OF A FORCE,YOU CAN BREAK OFF THE HOSE BARB,THEN YOU WILL PAY MORE THEN YOU WANTED.

Example #1:

Example #2:

This is how it should look when you are finished:

Then put it all back together and put it on the board.

Don't forget that little horse shoe clip that everyone looses

Then mount it back on your breech and go play:

There you have it. Thoughts and comments are welcome

Before doing anything else, I'd crank the reg all the way down to zero pressure and slowly turn it up from there to make sure you're just not overpressurizing the reg. The SP1's have a relief valve that will blast air out of the grip area if the reg is turned up too high.

Air down the barrel sounds like bolt or firing can o-rings, but until you get the right sized hex there's nothing you can do about those.

Thanks for the help. I'll start trying to accumulate the parts and tools for a full overhaul. I really like the feel of it and if I recall correctly I also enjoyed the way it shot.
