My Green Fade Enmey

This started out as a Hydro dip project.
I wanted a black to translucent Green. I also was doing my Rotor. And after painting the basecoats, I decided to do the Hopper first, in case it didnt go so well.

It went ok, but I realized the patrern I chose was simply too big to really see any detail. Had I not done the fade,it would have been better. So I decided to not do the Hydrodip on the Enmey itself.
Instead I gave it a couple of layers of Spray Max 2k clear coat. Which is a two component clearcoat ina spray can. The stuff is awesome.
I was able to start putting the parts back together an hour after the final coating.

I Hydro dipped the grip as well, to see how it will hold up.
If it holds up, I'll Hydrodip some of my masks.

Here are some pics.

You and me both.
I'm going to pickup a spraycan of black plastidip, and spray it black.

looks nice. High gloss finish. I don't know why, but I've always like the look of stainless of macroline, though I use both. Just looks stronger and more oldschool.

I have started preferring stainless again. Especially with the type of angle offset such as in this case.
I have noticed that macroline tends to be finicky and can leak easier, in these conditions.

Wow! That's really nice!!!

How well will those grips hold up? For the airline, would it be possible to cover it in shrink tubing, and treat it to the same hydro coloring?

The hydro dip and paint on the grip is a test to see if it will hold up.
As far as the line goes. I guess you could try it.

Did you hydro dip rubber grips?
Because if you did that's good to know, as I'll use the hydro dip film to dip a couple of paintball masks.
