SFT trials

Got an sft and it was dropping shots on hugh rates of fire, however, I've been adjusting the reg and dwell to try and get it to work as it needs to.

So far, the reg is set to 150 psi, which I'm sure is low, and I've been trying to set the dwell, however, it hasn't been doing much. Everytime I shoot a re ball, the first shot sputters, and the second shot sends the ball down the barrel.

What do I need to do?

Edit: I have it currently set to 8msc ( 20 chirps from lowest ) and 180ish psi, these are the factory recommended settings.

It's still not even pushing the ball down the barrel.

What bolt... what lube are you using... what temperature... and is your battery fresh.

Battery is fresh, stock bolt, dye slick lube, about 77 degrees.

Do you know which solenoid it has as well? Shockers came with two styles of solenoids. There was the Humphrey, which is an all silver solenoid and used a higher dwell of around 13 - 16 ms. If you have a silver and black solenoid, it is a Parker solenoid which uses a dwell of between 8 - 13 ms depending on which bolt you have installed. I use ZDS Paintball for any Smart Parts tech questions. Its a great website for sorting out most problems you will run into. Here is a link to the electronics and pressure setting page.

Just remember... 4 chirps = 1ms Your dwell is way way to low.
