Newb needs for shocker 4x4 faqs - Page 2

I am not one to change boards for semi-mode. I do not think boards make any difference in that, but I do play a LOT of xball and I would like my Shoebox to ramp.

I don't care if it ramps at 10bps, it would just be nice to be able to do it along with my main marker.

Really your only option unless you want turbo mode which is about 8.75bps on most shockers is to get a predator morlock. You can probably ramp to about 12 before shootdown becomes a problem, some guns can get more some less.

If you got a hold of one of the reallllly old DS turbo boards, it'd ramp to 12.25 bps. After a little while the programming was altered and the turbo mode cap was limited to 9 (or lower, if your settings required it). but man, I use one of these ds boards in my personal brick shocker, and it's perfect.

just bought one of the efficiency mods.. not sure if it will work, but for 11 bucks, it won't kill me.
