Dye stickies vs. Hybrid .45's

What grips feel and look better. The Dye Stickies (any) or the Hybrid .45's (any)?

Yea, it shouldn't matter what we think. We are just a bunch of yay-hoo's sitting at our compy's (or in some cases using a mobile device). This is YOUR marker. Get what you want, not what the popular majority says to get. Personally, I would vote for Hogue grips. They aren't as soft as dyes, but provide an excellent grip. Why do you think CCI uses them??? But from your selection, Dye stickies because the hybrids look like the crappy doodles in my chem notebook. Look at Pachmayr (sp?) grips. Those are some beautiful grips.

That said, Hybrid grips are terribly uncomfortable, made of hard plastic, trendy and cater to the most immature, juvenile demographics in paintball. Buy them at your own risk. Dye Sticky 3s are remarkably comfortable, and the backstrap for your palm is a great feature that I haven't seen anywhere else. I have heard, however, that the Stickys can get slippery.

I'd recommend Hogue 1911 grips. Nothing else comes close, as far as I'm concerned.

Those are it. You should be able to find them at a gun store.

-- Note: SHOULD be able to. I tried at 5 different sporting goods stores in Billings (the biggest city in Montana) and could only find Hogue's (Which I have 2 sets of) and the Pachmayr revolver grips.

Paintball grips aren't called .45 grips for no reason!

System X put out some of thier own stickys for a bit, and they are also super squishy, and very comfortable with the backstrap. They are bulkier than DYE's, so are great for bigger hands. They also look wicked slick.

The top sterling has system x grips

Hybrid grips are crap. They offer nothing to the comfort of the gun, and are only used for looks, and those looks are dubious at best.

I dislike the feeling of the Sticky grips. And the soft stuff seems to pick up every speck of dirt or crap around the house and field. That bothers me greatly since they aren't CLEAN....

Pachmyre grips ROCK. They're comfy and nice. I also like generic .45 grips. Check ebay for either one searching under .45 grip or 1911 grip.
