you could always try throwing the paintballs by hand, the ultimate stealth/silencer.....

I have done this MANY times. Mainly because I have a "never quit" policy, even if I run out of paint or air.

I've had a few hits this way. Mainly just on masks, or other hard surfaces, but usually it just does a nice job of confusiing people.

I'll take a pod with the top off, and throw it into the air, with a slight spin, so all the balls come flying out, and they rain down

Yeah! Never say die!

A couple of friends and I won a game with no paint and very little air.

We packed too little paint with us, and got drawn into a bigger conflict then we had planned.

When we were out of paint the three of us simply charged the flag "shooting" and the defenders ran off.

One of the same friends also won a game once, and he had no gun.

I did that to a kid at sherwood when I ran out of paint using one of Scraps VMs. I just charged him dry firing and shouting BANG BANG BANG! kid triped scrambling backwords out of the stupms he was hiding behind to run away. I still chuckle at that.
