Well, i know that if i buy the impuls threaded APEX, it will not fit, unless the APEX part doesnt count towards the 16'' length, which i doubt that is the case.

depending on the shroud, maybe. I think it is overall legnth.

I know that BT was working on making an apex for the SP-8 as well. I spoke to him while I was at D-day. I should post pics of my ION8tr. SP-8 frame with an ION on top. I do like the sp-8 trigger better than the ion triggers as well.

The set up I saw from one of the guys on texas roughnecks has a 18' freak with a apex adapter from UMS on it. Scary looking and excellent range. Plus paint to barrel match. I'm gonna have to try it.
