| ION problem My ion is leaking gas once the tank is screwed in. I took it apart and checked all the seals and hooked it back up gased up and when i put the grip frame screws back in it started to leak. Why is this happening now? Did I over tighten? Thanks |

| Seasoned Member | it could be from your banjo fittings on the ion assembly (breech/can etc) or the frame there could be a bad oring on one of them and when you tighten the body it puts pressure on that oring and swishes it outward revealing the crack (i dont know how much sence that made because i dont know how to word it haha) |

| Seperate the body from the frame but do not take the banjo fittings off. You can hear if there is a leak or not and better know where from. If it is from a fitting you can see if it is a bad oring to body problem or hose into banjo problem. Someone already mentions that if you pinch a hose while putting the body back to the frame it may leak. See if the leak starts when you put it back together or not. I recommend doing this with the maker off and with battery out. That way you can't accidentally fire it while it is vulnerable (taken apart). |

| Super small oring on banjo to body. You can try swaping it from the front banjo just to see if that fixes that leak and you will at least know the source. If that is not it the check to see if the hose has a split at the barb going into QEV. Last thing it could be is a striped body. You can look and see if it is and you would feel it when using the allen wrench. |

| Resident Marker Monger | I had the same prob. Tighten the grip screws, and it leaked. It turned out to be the shortest hose in the marker. I separated the frame from the can and wiggled everything. The marker was brand new also.

| Mine is having a different leak issue, when I screw in the tank it starts to leak from the hose coming from the ASA near the regulator. I can't figure it out and I would like to not take it to the pro shop, so help! - Mike |
