Calculating ION rate of fire from dwell and recharge.

What is the formula for calculating rate of fire based on the set values for dwell and recharge?

I have found two different calculators for rate of fire on the Internet, and they give different answers. Let's say I want my ION's BPS to be below 15.00 BPS.

WARPIG - World And Regional Paintball Information Guide

34 Dwell & 34 ROF = 14.92 BPS

Ion FAQ ~ Technical

34 Dwell & 34 ROF = 14.39 BPS

Which of these calculators is using the correct formula?

The correct formula is near the bottom of this page... ZDS Paintball - Ion Electronics Adjustment - Stock Board (Advanced)

I'd use the second numbers/formula since the formula for this page is taken from here: [ ZDSPB.com ] - ZDS Paintball rather than warpig.

It also depends on what board you are using to.

This thread assumes use of the stock board.

You can also compare to the chart in the back of the Ion manual.

The TechT website has an extensive Ion chart...lemme find it and I'll edit this page.

EDIT: here it is.... Ion Cheat Sheet

and billmi...unless SP recently added a chart to their manual...there's none there.

After I freaked out he added info for the Epiph manual, since they use the same board.
