Wow, I dislike Ions alot, but that one is pretty nice. Is there anything even stock left on it? Welcome to MCB!

Ion upgrades:

Some suggestions:

The techt L7 bolt may be a good upgrade from the firebolt, significantly lighter, and may reduce the already low kick to near imperceptible. I've used it, and it is very nice.
The L7 Ion Bolt

Deadlywind also has an ultralight bolt called the hollowpoint. I haven't tried it, but I love deadlywind's products, and they do quality work.

Also... take a look at the deadlywind Fibur barrel. Freak compatible, one piece, very light, and looks really nice.

As for bodies, take a look at the Powerlyte 07 semi-BOB bodies. They are very nice, solid aluminium, have a variety of anodizing choices, and feature the BOB capacity.

Regulators are very hard to judge, but most people think the Palmers stabilizer reg family is the gold standard of regulators.

Hope this helps.

You can replace the banjo fittings with those from Tippmanns (You'd need one like the one from the LP kit for the RT/Cyclone kit)

As for a reg,I'd say get a AKA 2 Liter over anything else. They have the fastest recharge rate and highest flow you can get.I got +/- 2 fps across the chono just as advertized.

Recommend the Shocktech body kit for it as well.Milling looks similar to what you have ,but,it allows for bolt removal out the back.

I highly recommend the L7 Bolt kit from TechTPaintball.com- Performance Matters ,You'll notice no kick at all when fired and you'll end up only have 3 o-rings that can go bad.

Nice marker, but ditch the grips....They're not truly "custom" if they're mass produced. Get some customized here:

That is quite possibly the sexiest Ion I've ever seen.
Well with all of that upgraded, It wouldn't cost too much for you to build a second Ion out of the spare stock parts.
