i've a shocker 4x4. is anti syphon co2 a must?

the title is pretty much my question. if i'm going with co2, do i NEED an anti-syphon set up. how does the gun act when using a co2 tank without an anti-syphon set up?

If you have a vertical max-flo on it, go ahead and use normal co2, if you have the traditional manifold ASA, go anti-siphon.

Yeah, the reg being horizontal and below the co2 bottle doesn't work well with standard or siphon tanks. In fact I would say go remote if you're using co2 on the thing, it'd be an extreme but you won't have to worry about blowing your solenoids. There's no LPR on the shoeboxes, if liquid gets past the reg, even though it vents overpressure, it might be too late.

If you dont want to spend the money on a antsiphon tank or a hpa tank, consider buying a remote line. It give the co2 the extra room required to expand into a gas.
