i just bought my 01 shocker last night, and this is the first time iv ever owed an electric marker and dont know dick about them. my ques is this, why would there be a hose running out the side of the body and up into the feed elbow? it does not appear to be an eye or elec for that matter. it looks like a small air line. thanks -nick

"The Shocker Sport is available with three feed options: standard, powerfeed or vertical feed. The model I reviewed had the powerfeed with air assist. According to Smart Parts the air assist keeps a larger stack of balls ready in the feed tube at all times for more reliable feeds. I also found that it helped feeding slightly when tilting the gun at extreme angles."

uh, if air isn't coming through it something is wrong, the port on the side of the marker is the gas exhaust from the noid IIRC, plugging it would blow the noid's spool and caused many problems. It is probably just too little for you to notice.

You do not need any of the air assist stuff if you don't want it. I personally do not use it, just take the barb out of the port, but DO NOT plug the port up.
