Shoebox shocker questions

Hey everyone, I just bought a shoebox shocker, in perfect conditon. However, I have some questions, having never owned one or played with one.

1: When I turn it on, the LED flashes green, breifly orange, and then green again, then goes off. Is this the stock board, or somthing like a W.A.S. board? And if it is programmable, how is that done?

2: Where to get a charger? Here is a pic of the battery...

and the link port.

Thanks!

Nice shoebox.First you can't recharge those batteries.Either you can find the older ones.Or get a 9 volt adapter from haveblue.Second sounds like you have a stock ds or ls board maybe a turbo or a s/f.

That port is for some accessory that I cannot remember for the life of me, maybe some sort of Intellifeed link?

You do have the Turbo switch cover (it's missing a screw on the left side btw) and your board should be an LS seeing as your gun is an 01-02 model (5 grooves on side).

Your frame should be able to accept Impulse triggers and the feedneck IS threaded so you could replace it with a clamping one if you wanted...

Let me know if you ever wanted to sell it!

It is an 02, and an LS board. I already replaced the trigger and I noticed the screw, I gotta fix that. Thanks for the help!

YDNA has a wealth of information, and sometimes carries used shoebox parts. I think he has a few used boards for sale, inlcuding Glacier boards.
BTW nice Shoebox.

Sexy shoebox, don't buy an adaptor. Go to Radio shack and get a 9vlt plug, and clip the SP battery before the plug. Attach the appropriate wires and your fine. I wouldn't worry about that until you actually run the battery out, most people claim that they will last an entire season or better.

Have fun with it, have you shot it yet?? One of the best shooting markers I've ever owned.

-fox-

*edit*

That's an intelli feed port fyi, and make sure to regulate the poor thing!! I just didn't see a reg and blown noids are expensive.

Nope. The guy's name is n2extreme1 on AO.

Fox- Don't worry, I'm using my max flow on it. And I'm already splicing the wires for the 9V.

Its funny..all of us MCB guys like electros as much as the next person..but it just has to be old and considered outdated to be cool for us.

if the led is changing from green to orange and then green again it means you have a low battery i think.

for the battery i cut the wire harness at the battery pack and spliced it with a 9v harness from an old alarm clock. if not they are like $.99 at radio shack or you could possably find them at wal-mart.

i cant see the pic of the link port but if its on the right side of the gun towards the front its for inteli feed im prity sure. the round port towrads the back of the gun is for a 10-32 fitting so you could hook up air assist. however it is also the vent for the bolt/ram so if you plug it then it wont fire.

i have found most of the noise comes from the air assist port. i have seen people eather hook up mufflers or run some cocker hose into the grip to scilence it.
