a question about the freak barrels

through all the years, are all freak fronts and backs interchangable?

With the exception of some all american fronts that look like freak fronts but have different threads.

He may be talking about the old-style AA barrels, that were used until 2002. Those fronts aren't threaded the same, but they're glued onto the backs so you don't ften see one separate (read, never).
