when you shop online most of the product photos don't have shadows.

i know, a generic, floating in space "stock" photo... doesnt seem as real/tangible as an equally nice photo with a hint of shadow... IMO

Never had the pleasure of making it to Xpx, wanted to get there for the Zombie show over Halloween this past year, but did not work out.
Certainly post up when a group is going, I would like to check it out.

They didn't do that this year because they were working on something else really awesome. That's another benefit of having the owners run a production company.

They also work with local SWAT so they are moving things around to keep it fresh.

Discussion between Deuce and I i stated "I think people are making too big a deal of the "Meets" and the amount of people showing up... if 2 people show up and next time 20 show up great whatever... i still think we should hold them and or plan games often... i like to have the info out there for anyone that wants to show up be able to know when and where... I actually want to just have a list of any games we plan on playing... then just let everyone know every time..."

I, personally, like the shadow. I think it give it that more tangible look like Matt said. Ultimately it's up to the customer. If they want shadow, shadow they get. Don't want it, no shadow.

I agree, it's up to the customer with product photos. That said I personally prefer a very light shadow. Something to give it that real substantial feel.

Tom and I will be making a trip to XPX on the 26th. We will be there early as always to grab a table. Anyone else that wants to come out and shoot with or against us is welcome.
