Much to learn you have, young Padawan!
Did you know, that at the 1935 Harley Davidson Dealers Convention, they introduced the Knucklehead. It was the FIRST BIG V-Twin ever at 61ci. One dealer was reported so excited, he drew a pistol and fired it into the air.

Do you mean one head a Knuckle, the other a Pan? Yeah, those are pretty cool. Indian Larry used to build some that looked like that. It's the same, slab-side, generator bottom.

I had one of those. '81 GS550 bobber. I took two that I picked up for a combined total of $248.

Mine's an '82 GS650.

Gonna be a poor man's bobber. Rattle can flat black body, and rattle can flat red frame, front fender used as the rear fender, no front fender, drag bars (possibly ape hangers if I find some that don't look silly) and a solo seat. Good stuff.

I went with a solo seat, mild apes. I took the plastic part of the rear fender off and lost the front fender all together.

Make sure the struts will hold the weight of a pass. Forget the seat though, a puss pad is all that's needed.
