Note to everyone, I just left ALS army navy and they are strictly airsoft now, no more paintball.

Edit: they said paintball reached it's peak and dwindled away, there's only one sanctioned tournament body left that people will travel to play these days. Not many people want to play paintball anymore. Good airsoft guns cost $200-$300 and paintball guns are $500-$1000. And 2000 paintballs cost $49.99 or 2000 bbs cost $9.99. So they removed their paintball field and turned it into an airsoft field. And currently they have no airsoft players because they haven't had their grand opening of the airsoft field yet.

Those are their words, not mine.

Well, airsoft is more along the lines of their business model. Their store inventory is crap anyways. I'm surprised they've stayed open as long as they have.

Yuck.
I have a similar reaction to the feel of chalk. This really sucked my first couple of years teaching before I had whiteboards.

I also get shivers up my spine when snow crunches under my feet.

Ugh.. I'm with you on those two. I dislike the feel of chalk pretty strongly and I loathe the crunching of snow. Glad I don't have to hear that any more.

Yes, it's just funny to me that they don't realize the only reason they lost their paintball field was because they never changed it around or fixed the wear and tear of it. Long ago they had 100 people every Saturday. That's when my wife had a team and she played there. The guy that scheduled small tournaments and kept up with the field was layedoff. I remember telling them they needed to make a desert-urban type field to resemble Iraq to draw interest. The owner refused to spend money on it. They also had trilogy autocockers on the wall for $400.
