I agree, but even by that thinking that would make the barrel shorter not longer. Correct?
I say we get a bunch of barrels together and start whacking the manufacturers on the melon with them from different distances until they can tell the difference in length.
Just to avoid confusion, what I'm saying is screwing a 12" barrel into a Phenom with the shroud on doesn't make that barrel 6" all of the sudden. If that was the case every M4 on the market would be an illegal SBR and the ATF would be really busy.
