That's why I love my .22s. I can shoot all day for what a bag of paint costs.

I got one for my wife. The one with the threaded barrel and picatinny rail. At some point I plan on a suppressor for it. And then I'll get a Savage .22 bolt action to use a suppressor host.

I really dislike rails and stuff on guns. I prefer them as simple as possible, but to each his own. I would like a 22 bolt action, preferably ruger and get the mark III standard for a .22 pistol. i want to stick to no more than 2 different rounds, at most 3.

I prefer the rail to sights on this gun. With a suppressor, standard sight would be to short. This way I can mount a 30mm red dot and use that over the suppressor.

A Ruger bolt action .22 is the 77/22 and is stupid expensive. The Savage Mark II is a superior gun, especially when you have the accu-trigger. I want the Savage FVSR to use as a suppressor host. If going semi-auto .22, than the 10/22 is a great gun and very modular with there being enough aftermarket companies and parts to build a 10/22 clone out of nothing but aftermarket parts.

Here's my 10/22 as she sits (minus the scope):

looks very nice, Josh! I am a fan of wooden stocks as well. Does Savage have a good bolt action with a wooden stock in .22lr?
