| hey folks. we are going to host a rec game out on our private woodsball field in morisstown on may 10th at 12pm. thats a saturday, 3 weeks out. one of our players is leaving for the marine corps and we are wanting to put together a big game as a send off for him. we plan to meet up and play some great woodsball matches with straight elimination, capture the flag and even some respawn. we will meet up around 11:30 and try and have game on at least by 12:30. we will play untill everyone runs out of paint or stamina. there will be co2 on site and hpa is a maybe. byop. we were even contemplating breaking out the grill and feeding folks in between or after the game.
we have already invited two groups that we have scrimmaged there in the past and expect a great turnout around 30-50 players. our team has a paintball tank and we can even implement that if the game is big enough and ppl want to bring some law rockets to try and take it out. the field is straight up woods and open roads, good foilage, huge trees and falled trees for cover, a few pallet bunkers, sink holes, open fields. there are 2 main bases and a swing base kinda like the sppl, but nothing real fancy, just good ole woodsball. the terrain is moderate and not too hilly for all you old vets out there. we play good stand up ball with safety as a priority. be prepared to have your mask on outside the staging area and to plug/condom your gun when hit, just like the big games. we chrono under 300fps. we do however allow open firing modes such as full auto and ramping, so be prepared for some serious firefights.
