Survey for dates - 2-man pump league at Break50 in Tarpon Springs

Hi, Guys!

This is an update (see the Feb. 19 post below).

I'm doing some legwork for Bob and Rocky at Break50.

They really want to promote pump play and are putting on an inexpensive, 6-week league to do so. They are going to hold it on a weekend so that the other people that show up can see pump play; they want to impress kids' parents with pump play as well.

Here are the play times to give feedback about:
- Sunday afternoons (2pm-5pm) or
- Saturday late-mornings (11pm-2pm)

Details about the league play:
Player fee will be $25 per week, which includes 1 bag of good paint.
(Considering that their play fee is $15 and their bags are normally $15, this is a pretty darn good deal. You might see what I mean about them promoting pump play and making it a inexpensive event series).

The 6-weeks might be played:
1) continuously
2) broken up into 3 weeks, a week break and 3 more weeks
3) 2-week sessions with a 1-week break between them.

This is mostly because there might be scenario or other events during this time that people have committed to.

Games will have a 3-minute limit. There will be a center flag. Players are limited to 40 balls per game (no, I didn't talk them into that).

30 points for first grab, 50 points for the hang, 5 points for each elimination and live player.

They just had a successfull semi league but are really excited about promoting pumps.

WoW......I don't know if I can do this....but my two cents...

Friday night would be hard on the working/family person...Sunday is church day for some

Saturday would be my logical choice....3) 2-week sessions with a week break between them..I like this for business/family time.....

I hope this goes great....I'll even though my name in the hat to pair up with someone..I'm a newbie at pump....I don't care if it's behind a tree or a Supair bunker....

I myself am just getting into pump as well. I would be interested but I work afternoons and the time would be no good for me. On a side not this field is only like 10 minutes from my house. If anyone wants to get together for some early morning play on the weekend let me know.

Sorry to not get back here sooner.

Good to hear from everyone!!

Two things:

The league dates were selected and it will be Friday nights (see the separate, new thread). A little rough on me too, but I'm going to make it happen. This sounds like fun!

Local play: I play every weekend someplace, in addition to Break50's regular pump night during the week. Let me know what you're doing in this forum or at StockClassPaintball.com and we'll meet up wherever.

By the way, Sunday afternoons at Break50 generally turn into a pump gathering: the semi guys have shot all their paint and several pumpers are usually there and that dominates the rest of the day.

The Friday night thing is officially done and a new series is starting.

By popular request, the day/time will be changed.

It will be either on:
- Sunday afternoons (2pm-5pm) or
- Saturday late-mornings (11pm-2pm),
whichever works the best for folks.
