Ok so quite a few members from Florida are interested in going to the Fall Castle game....This will take planning to get everyone together and figure out how we are going to do it.....I know plans may change by then....no biggie...just trying to get those who wish involved in the planning...

Travel, lodging, camping ect.........you name it we have to figure it out....

Let use this post to line it up without 30 pages of bull about other topics.........Tommy

Flying is by far the cheapest way. I paid like 170 for my ticket to Philly and got a ride to the field. If there are enough of us we can split a rental and hotel if we can't find enough bunk space. I also don't think 4 of us together in a car for 17 hours.

The only hotel I would actually stay in is the Holiday Inn, the other hotels are just plain scary nasty.

I would suggest that groups of 3-5 people go in on the rental and hotel.

By the time fall castle is hear I fully expect gas to be around $4/gal. So lets say we get 25mpg. That is 25mpg for about 1200 miles. About 50 gallons each way = 400. Then there is the estimated 17 hours each way for a total near 35. We would have to leave thursday and would probably miss all the pump stuff on sunday.

If I have not already moved up there I would be more than willing to do this. Most of you guys can probably fly out of Orlando, Tampa, Ft. Lauderdale/Miami easily and I will fly out of Jax.

I'm game for a road trip, I think it would be fun to be honest. All of us chip in for gas, so what if it's a bit more, we carry our gear, grab a hotel the whole nine yards. I am game for that!

Cool. I usually get rides in philly. However, if there are a lot of us it might be a bitch to get enough rides. I can see it now; 5 people and 50 guns for a 4 hour game.

The main issue with driving is that it would require almost a 5 day weekend.

Really this is the time to start planning......any suggestions would help....

Also any costs at castle would help....motel rates..ect....

Well we need to factor some of the following. Flying Vs Driving cost.

How many of us want to get together and chip in for a large van, gas money etc to get us there. Or do we all just fly there (kinda boring)

We can drive and pick members up on the way, start our own convoy to castle. That would be a good place to start.
