Wink AO South 2008 Rome Georgia

Last year it was November 3rd.
I wasnt able to make it.

EDIT :Looks like the date is November 1st this year.

Its to be at AO / MCB member Kruger's field.

Automags.Org Online Forums - AO South "2" at Kruger's place....intrest?

Scenario Paintball Games

Save your pennies now.
Looks like there will be a few from Florida going.
If it can be done on the cheap (and I mean cheap lol) I'd like to try and go.
Head up the Friday before about noon-ish and head back Sunday morning.

I will open the field up at 10 on Sunday morning so you can get a really good dose before you have to travel back home. Also, we are, and always have been a BYOP field. Or, we will have mid grade on sale there if you want. Depending on what paint costs us, it should be from 45 to 55 bucks a case. Also, there is no running water at the field, so bring water if you wish. We have drinks and water for sale, also snacks, but you can bring whatever you wish to. We will have a gut truck there to serve lunch and sandwiches, price to be determined. Field fee $10 and all day air, $10. We have two compressors on site and will be able to fill 4.5 and 3k. Also CO2 is available.

NO ADULT BEVERAGES AT THE FIELD

More as I have time.

Sounds interesting and looks like its at a good time for me. I should be able to make that drive in 2-3 hours. Are lurking AOers invited? I don't think I have any posts over there.

I've got a mag...for the moment anyway. I'm sure you know how it goes. I'll do my best to get a small, friendly group up to play.

Daze, this event is really just an excuse for the Mag owners to get together and put faces to names, tell lies, show yur stuff. It is not just for mags, altho that is the theme of the game. There will be plenty of Mags there, but everybody is invited to come. Last year, we had Pump players dominate several games, really quite impressive to watch. And, they werent just Mag pumps either. Also, I had way too many Ref's at the game. All I really needed to do was point out where to start and call the game at the end. NO PROBLEMS AT ALL. It was the nicest bunch of guys that I have ever had the opportunity watch. Guys get hit, they call themselves out. I did occasionally do a paint check, but not many. And, if you like Mags, then there will be no better chance to see some really exquisite examples of just about anything Mag that you can think of. One gentleman brought only 15 of his Xmags, didnt have room for the rest of them

On a side note, I see that Mt Doom is you field of choice. I used to live in Good Hope, and I must confess that at the time, I was not into paintball at all. So, I never did get a chance to see the place. But, I do plan on dropping by for a game or two there. You are only a little over two hours from Rome. Just a short day trip for you guys. Hope to see you there.

Just after I posted this, I thought my schedule had went to crap, and I was out.

Now, it looks a little better, and I'm putting this game back on the calendar. The field looks like a great place to play, and sounds like the way we play at Doom. I really hope I can make it.

You should come to Doom when you get a chance. Its always a good time, and we're all just there to have fun. Its a shame you weren't into paintball when you were here, Doug and the regulars are good people.
