im just throwing stuff out there...
Just put the word out on the boards to get folks together. Down at the Church there are plenty of younger pump players that are looking to get more action going. As for travel they might not be so reliable but if there is a group that wants to get together for some fun games I am down with it.

Yeah, for the last year I have been out at Fightertown it has been vitals only (with rare exceptions), and the extraction point for the president game is always the Jeep next to the gas station.

That is true. It's only about an hour away from me and I think it's a long drive.

and yeah i love the lotto tourneys always a good time to be had for sure. thats why i want to make a pump gathering at different fields so we can all take turns driving far, make it fair for everyone.
Yes it has. I haven't played in a long time, just don't really have the money to anymore. It would be awesome to get a large group of pumpers willing to play at different fields. I know FAP has a cheaper entrance fee for pump only play, are there other fields like that? Maybe if the group was large enough the field owners could offer a discount for those pump meet-ups.

The church field has a great staff and a lot of good people out there playing. IMO though not being allowed to bunker makes the game a little boring.

I'm down for pump/pistol/mcb games for sure. I've been out of the sport for a bit but I plan on playing a bunch this fall and winter.

If anyone is getting a group together I would love to be in on it.

FAP offers cheaper entry for pump players? That's awesome, what does it run? I've always wished fields would offer something like that to promote the sportsmanship that often accompanies pump play.

I remember going back to 23BPS years ago, and they had no idea what I was talking about when I mentioned 12 grams. (was trying to get a discount since I did not need all day air pass)

Definately down for it. Even without the reduced field fee or having to fold into a rec game.

The no bunker rule at the Church does make the game go stale, especially when there are players that camp right in front of you knowing you can't do much about it.

i know wild planet has a no bunker rule either but if we can get in our own group we can modify that rule so we can play with bunkering.
i think to make this offer attractive to any field we need at least 10-20 people willing to go so they can make some money while having us on our own group
if you guys have ideas lets hear them.

Hate to say it, if we want to do this we have to set it up so the people saying that they are going to be there have some skin in the game, so to speak. Otherwise you get 50 people saying they will show and only 3 guys end up being there.

10-20 ought to do it, if we want a field to ourselves. Sunday mornings are by far the best for me but I can pull off a Saturday once in a while.

You don't have to wait for the next half hour to end and go in with a group, but just go in whenever you want. Maybe your event badge could have 12 punches, 3 per hour (4 hour games right), and they don't carry over. When you go back to the starting point, a ref punches your next spot for that hour and you play. If you run out of punches for that hour, you have to wait til the next one before you go in.
I'll bring this up with the scenario organizer and see if we can get something to work.

I actually just posted that quote up earlier today looking for some feedback. It's in the thread on PBAZ for the recent night scenario at FT.
