Paintball in Tucson area

It looks like I might be making a move to Tucson in the near future. What is the paintball scene like in that area? I would like to hear from any of the local guys.

Should be outlaw games out there but more legal fields north of Tucson.
Wild West is in Mesa, Xtreme pursuit indoor west Phoenix, north Phoenix is Fort Adobe, Scottsdale is splatter ranch which is owned by Xtreme pursuit, north west Phoenix is fighter town (scenario heaven...if you like that stuff) and far north west Phoenix is cowtown.

I have never played at disruptive they may have a good core of rec ballers also Yuma may still have a field too

What part of town are you looking to live? I live SE of Tucson in Vail. Near by we have Desert Fox and a renegade field. DF is fun with a group of regulars who are pretty stand up people. I haven't been to Disruptive in a few years since I moved from the west side of town. A friend of mine lives 'close' to it and has gone several times since I have moved. He said that it's a decent group with a reasonable pump group.

Disruptive has a few field types/sizes and DF has two fields. A smaller one for teams that are 10 v 10 or smaller. Any larger and that field gets a little crowded. It's got a box-o-doom in the middle. Ask Everex5, he's seen it too. The large field is big. I've played in 30+ v 30+ games on that one and it didn't feel bunched up at all. The refs are pretty good and attentive and the owner doesn't put up with BS, so things tend to stay quite fun.

If you have kids, the Vail school district is much better than TUSD (TVSD on the NE and Foothills on the NW are both better too). If you live in the Rita Ranch area or in Vail, you will be in the Vail school district.

The office is near the airport so I imagine I will be looking on the SE side. Of course depending on where my lady gets a job that is open to negotiation (read we live close to where she works and I drive)

Kids are college age and probably staying on the East coast but thanks for the school info.

Right now it looks like I will not be moving until the beginning of the year so I have a few months to get my fill of playing in the woods.

I work by the airport. It takes me ~20 minutes to get to work.
