It's the standard newer Sterling type. They slide in an adaptor plate that slides on the body and screws down. Same as any newer stp/stock class you see in any of the prior pics

neither really its got an adapter that slides on the rail and is mounted in it.

on another note I think there is a skull sterling for sale over on pbnation right now as well

Yes 187 does great work. He has done about 5 markers with it. The other sterling the guy was talking about was the first he did for me. Should never sold it. That's why I redid this one. Missed my baby and the guy I sold it to didn't sell it back as we agreed. Pains me to see it up again but I have a new better one and an amazing jubilee edition so no need for a third.
