Yeah, guilty as charged. I'm the only person I know that's broken the pump rod on a sterling while AT'ing.

If you do get permision I would be willing to help with the re write and any investigation that goes along with it.

also I think I have a life behind lenses video that I started working on about the sterling that I never put up.

Yeah, I have a question . What is the thread and size of the classic Sterling's? I get alot of "a barrel off a rainmaker or angel with alittle work" and I want the machine spec.s Help me put if you can.

I remember reading it on here some where & a Raptor barrel has the correct threading. The only problem is the ~1/4" shoulder to cut off so it threads all the way in.

My local machine shop wouldnt do that for me so I had to get the stock barrel freak bored & Im so much happier. Now I have a brand new Lapco around here that I dont need.

i do the barrel work for the raptor cutdowns if ya interested...ive done quite a few

on thing that does suck when ya do that ya gotta find the right barrel or ya boring out ya pump handle too to get the barrel to fit it

not sure on the barrel thread.........tho

I remember that you got a hold of me about that at one time but I decided to get one of my stock Sterling barrels bored out so I wouldnt have to buy/build an under cocking kit.

I had the idea the other day to trade my MicroMag for another older Sterling but realized I just need to play more with it.

yep yep thats me......did a old stock one i had just a few weeks ago....come out very nice......sadly i havent used my sterling in a bit so ....no really trying it out in a game.....

if ya still thinking about getting the barrel done let me know.......

so anyone got the original sterling barrel tpi

bet its britt threads........metric and bitt threads are really close in some cases i know for sure that the raptor barrels are metric
